What is an airmattress

An air mattresses has several advantages:

It can be a permanent or temporary sleep surface
It is lightweight and doesn't need heating
It does not cause condensation
It can be stored away when not in use
It can be a practicable replacement for a waterbed mattress

Why not use an inexpensize waterbed mattress?.

As you can see, a waterbed mattress when blown up with air becomes a huge pillow. Water seeks its own level and stays flat- air does not.

Some means must be provided to maintain the shape of the mattress, this is why airbed mattresses have baffles, ribs or I-beams to maintain their shape.

Air also has smaller molecules. A waterbed mattress that will keep you dry will slowly allow air to bleed out, airbed mattresses must be made from different formulations of plastic because of their intended use.

Don't confuse our airbed mattresses with the inexpensive ones used for camping or overnight guests. These are made of high quality materials so that you won't be getting up in the middle of the night to add more air to your mattress. These mattresses are made to much higher standards so that the are leak free.
