You can keep your mattress for years if you do proper maintenance
- Clean corners around your mattress and the top of the mattress 3 or 4 times a year using cleaner protectant.
- Metal brackets inside of frame can wear on mattress. Use duct tape on any inside metal or rough areas of wood.
- Pulling the fill attachment on your mattress up and pushing it back down often causes excess wear. Leave attachment down in bed when possible. Use a Super Burper rather than pulling up the fill attachment when burping.
- Oil and salt from the body breaks down vinyl. Keep a thick mattress pad on mattress and periodically use cleaner protectant as in #1 above.
- If you need to move your mattress, be sure to vacuum water out all the way and hold that vacuum while you place the cap and seal on the mattress. This will help hold the fiber layers in place.
