Boyd mattress

.Memory's offers great sleep options at an affordable price without sacrificing sleep!!!.We know that many people are on a strict budget, and now you don't have to sacrifice sleep with our Memory's waterbed mattresses.

A. Special "pearlized" vinyl top made with a high plasticizer content. This allows the vinyl to better conform to your body and quickly regain its shape. The 20 mil approximate thickness and plasticizer allow high resistance to abrasion yet a supple feel.

B. Patented thermal bonded Dacron® fiber layers restrict water movement and adds buoyancy to keep you sleeping with the right amount of support. It also eliminates the "hamocking effect" associated with free flow waterbed mattresses. The number of layers in each mattress varies according to the particular mattress you choose.
  • Thermal bonded fiber is possibly the most important feature of a Memory's mattress. Most mattress manufacturers use glue to tie the fiber layers together. Glue adds weight and causes the fiber mats to sink to the bottom of the mattress. This allows a layer of water to ride on top.
  • The water on top allows more motion. In theory you were buying a mattress with fiber to cut down on motion and provide extra buoyancy. Glue coated mats are also much rougher and scratches at the inside of the mattress vinyl causing premature wear.

C. Memory's Stretch Tethering System at each corner to keep the fiber layers in place so that it does not bunch up or shift around. Stretch tethering becomes vital if you move. We have seen fixed tether waterbed mattresses get ruined during moving because the fiber shifted and ripped the bed apart.

D. Exclusive heat resistant black Trimilitate® bottom for compatibility with your heating system.

E. Additional mid-body lumbar support in Memory's 5 or 99% only. This is a key component which allows you to sleep flat no matter what way you turn.

F. Memory's has done something unique with the corners. It features patented 4 layer reinforcing at each corner. Mattresses often fail at corners because of the additional stress caused by pulling when changing the sheets. Welds are also weaker than non-weld areas. Memory's adds 4 layers of plastic reinforcing to prevent this problem.
