| Memory's has done something unique with the corners. It features patented 4 layer reinforcing at each corner. Mattresses often fail at corners because of the additional stress caused by pulling when changing the sheets. Welds are also weaker than non-weld areas. Memory's adds 4 layers of plastic reinforcing to prevent this problem.

Below [C] is the stretch tethering system used inside Memory's Mattresses. A tether system is missing in many waterbed mattresses that use fiber to restrict water movement. Still others use a rigid tether that often breaks. The Memory's Stretch Tether system
not only keeps the fiber layers in place, it allows movement without restriction. It provides longer life than other less flexible tether systems.

The black bottom [D] above is manufactured specifically for use with heating systems. Trimilitate, a special plasticizer, is added to the vinyls used on the Memory's bottom layer to prevent them from becoming brittle. Many waterbed mattresses do not have this feature.
Features shown above:

A. Layers if thermal bonded fiber (Memory's 2 has two)
B. Two layers of buoyancy mat (heat sealed plastic foam) to add rigidity and extra flotation
C. Stretch Tether elastic strap and anchor
D. Trimilitate Bottom |
Think about the innovation and quality depicted here before you buy a waterbed mattress. These waterbed mattresses deliver the best sleep you can buy for the dollar.
