The Discovery Plus Lumbar 3 is a Plush Firm mattress. Subtle wave action, motion typically stops between one and two seconds. A larger person should seldom touch bottom. Sleepers motions only effect each other a very minor amount. Lumbar fiber layers to support sleepers midsection for a flatter sleeping position. All mattress layers have built-in flotation beads. Semi waveless design.

Beaded Fiber Layers are layers that contain plastic beads for extra buoyancy. These beads are bonded into the layers so they stay in their fiber layer.

25 mil smooth vinyl makes a big difference. Most Discovery mattresses are made using a 20 mil copper colored vinyl with a different formulation. We use the same top quality you find in the Elite Plus and FiberFirm Plus lines because we feel it lasts a lot longer. Our warranty is a full 5 years.
