Better waterbeds are built so that the fiber floats to the top of the mattress. The fiber gently pushes up on the sleeper. The more layers you have pushing you up, the firmer the feel of the bed and the flatter your body will be. The DreamWeaver Elite Pro is famous for having a firm feel. The FiberFirm has very positive buoyancy, Discovery has a wider range of firmness and motion reduction levels.

DreamWeaver Elite and FiberFirm series mattresses include float sheets that provide buoyancy to the fiber layers.

The DreamWeaver Elite Pro, FiberFirm and Discovery series of mattresses use sidesial vinyl with their exclusive SUPERVINYL formulation using more costly yet superior plasticizers. For added comfort its top is embossed using a cold pressure method as standard.


The Discovery Watermattress Series allows you to Discover economy with quality. It also uses high quality components although not all are as expensive as the DreamWeaver components. The DreamWeaver uses Dupont "Certified" fiber for motion reduction. The Discovery line uses an excellent quality fiber. The number of layers, how they are positioned and amount of flotation beads also varies between the two lines.
